Our beloved duo returns once more to give you app review happiness. A personal highlight this episode was the fact that after about 4 years we finally have a new opening intro song by Hawkito himself. Do yourself a favor and express interest in getting that song from Mr. Van Skyhawk and we may be able to get/purchase that one soon. This episode includes reviews for Google Hangouts and the ubiquitous Candy Crush Saga, complete with the ridiculous in-app purchases. Enjoy!

Believe it or not, we have not one, but two hosts for today’s AppSlappy goodness. Thank God for unemployed people who are working to give us entertainment for free. Scott and company are continuing to rework the show to bring even more app entertainment to your ear holes. Going even further, we may even have the chance to get in live shows where folks can call in. Be on the look out in the Twitter-verse for future live shows.
Hey folks! Most of you have probably heard, but Scott and Co. is re-tooling the show for all of our benefits. So, until we get a full-fledged reboot, Scott wanted to give us mini-episodes with some reviews. Observe and enjoy:

They Might Be Giants, or TMBG for those who are lazily inclined, released an app about a week ago. It has fairly standard stuff, essentially it holds five of the most recent/popular tracks from TMBG and connects you to their social media fan base. For any TMBG fans, it definitely deserves a place on your home screen, and it’s free. Also, what’s pretty cool, is the artwork in the app was developed and hand-stitched by Hine Mizushima.
In other news, you may have heard that the App Store got a little to pornoriffic recently with the 500px photo sharing app and then Apple subsequently removed it. Now, this app has returned into the fold after being cleansed of all boobs. But the real question is what has actually changed? Apparently they added a “Report” button to each image so people could flag any potential problem, and what’s more, Apple raised the rating of the app to 17+. Co-founder of 500px, Evgeny Tchebotarev, drew a correlation between their app and the Vine, who also has had issues of porn popping up when it shouldn’t. The Vine, however, still enjoys a 12+ rating on the app store. Lest we forget, Apple can pretty much do whatever it likes on it’s own app store, fair or not.
Regardless of what you man think of Mr. Ashton Kutcher, it is a rather interesting direction they are taking, and he’s still a dead ringer for Jobs as a young dude. With that said, Woz claims that this scene never really happened, citing that the relationship and motivations among the two of them were quite different. But he also added that “I’m embarrassed but if the movie is fun and entertaining, all the better.”
Mr. Scott Johnson and Mr. Eric Van Skyhawk have joined us once again to give you all another fantastic rendition of AppSlappy. Eileen stated something about wanting to join the circus and has not been heard from since. This week in the news, Apple had cancelled some parts that they normally would have been used for iPhone production, this has been interpreted to mean that there is less of a demand for the iPhone. But there are some who would suggest that this is a necessary first step in further innovation on Apple’s part. For us, interpret freely.

And, for those of you interested in party games, we also get into Spaceteam. This one comes highly recommend via Mr. Johnson and is good for any group that each has an iOS device. Spaceteam can be a bit difficult to explain, so observe:
