Eerie isn’t it? I said that we’d be back and we’re back! Am I a wizard? Have I always been a wizard? Then why don’t I have a demon?! Good on whoever knows that reference. Apple technologists have claimed that something big is happening next week and the world seems to believe them, and the crack team at AppSlappy will be there to give you the most informed opinions that a free podcast can buy!

So in this episode we learned that Eric doesn’t turn his phone off in airplanes. Which is when I’m often looking at my iPhone wondering why it takes so long to boot up.
I think Scott missed in his analogy comparing the old PC market and the current phone market. In the beginning it was the community/public that shaped the spec’s and performance levels and not the Window’s PC manufacturing companies. The current phone market is extremely closed and it doesn’t really allow for consumers to make upgrades and purchase cutting edge equipment to continue to push the expansion of the marketplace. It’s this big difference that gives Apple the advantage. If both marketplaces are essentially closed to consumer input, then the better designed interface an software selection is going to “win”. Whatever winning is in this kind of thing.
I too have the MotionX Dice games (Poker & Poker Quest) and will *NEVER* remove them ever!
I couldn’t find a game that was just like it, but Dice Diving (http://appshopper.com/games/dice-diving) isn’t too bad. Sadly, I couldn’t find a replacement for the MotionX games.
