Many thanks for reminding me about Air Video in this week’s podcast. I had read about it on App Advice, but was skeptical of the quality and if it would work properly. Your review tipped me toward giving it a shot, and I’m so thankful I did. I’m looking forward to having my collection of anime and TV shows available on my lunch breaks, because they all stream wonderfully over WiFi, and passably over 3G. By the way, if you have a UPnP capable router, remote access setup turned out to be a snap. Their website has a super easy tutorial to set it up. Now I just need to hunt out all the lunch spots in the area with WiFi access for the best quality on the go. Thanks again, and I love the show.
The only game that I can find that’s any good in that gamebox program you reviewed is the gem game, neander block. I’ve been playing it actually for a few days.
I just wanted to confirm as well that thanks to your advice I decided to pick up Air Video, and that it is working great feeding me my mkv, avi, and even HD videos without having to have the server and iPhone be on the same network.
So, very curious, which is the Podcast that ripped on your voice? Durp
Dish has a great DVR controlling app. I use it to program my dvr, even while at home. I find it better than the interface on the Dish dvr. It even acts as a dvr remote.
I use a remote streaming software which works on any browser

It is free, unfortunately only works on PC at the moment, but I use it to stream video from my PC, and network drives anywhere.
We love your voice over here at The App Show! It is crazy how some podcasts will make fun you people for no reason. the more podcasts about the iPhone the better! If you ever want to come on the app show or the ipad show it would be great to have those lovely pipes join us any time.
What was the app that whispering cheap dad was reviewing I just can’t get what he is saying.
Otherwise love listening to S & E.
Hi, what was the song in French behind Patrick’s segment?
Cheers!
I think it was gundead defence
