With the most recent update to Xbox Live users can access Facebook and Twitter, but as far as accessing Xbox Live friends lists and information from external sources, solutions are few. Now with 360 Live, an unauthorized iPhone and iPod touch app released to the iTunes App Store, users can access their complete friends list, compose and receive messages, manage friend requests, compare achievements with friends, and more.
Pretty cool. Not sure what players think just yet, but probably worth checking out. Here it is on the App Store for 1.99.
been using this for a while now. Nice wow factor and works well when at home on the wifi when deciding if it’s worth booting the xbox to get some gaming done. Works on 3g but VERY slow. Really nice to have an easy way to send a message to friends on their xbox from my iphone though! I’d use this over the onscreen keyboard even if i was online playing.
