I love the show – lets me totally indulge in my iPhone obsession! I agree with Scott that my iPhone is becoming my “all-in-one” unit. It’s replaced my DS for gaming, made the Kindle unnecessary, and yesterday became my exercise entertainment as I used it to watch old episodes of “Beauty and the Beast” on the TV.com app while running on the treadmill. Now it looks like I’m going to travel on business without my laptop (gasp!!).
Don’t worry about Columns Scott… I downloaded it free (Sorry for not letting you know)… But it is really disappointing! I played the hell out of it on GameGear, but on the iPhone its just not working, at least not yet.
Jailbroken programs can be run in the background…I assume this is because they can use undocumented API.
So, your AIM. gtalk, MSN, and yahoo chat client (that you got from cydia/installer) can usually be running in the background and receiving messages WITHOUT logging you out while your phone is on standby or while you’re taking some pictures with your cam or something.
Something worth noting
Just noticed… on 7/11 they dropped I Dig it to .99 I’ll be picking it up today.
Oh man, I can’t stop playing I Dig It! Finally figured out the correct strategy.
And I can’t agree more regarding Pocket God. It got old really quick for me. I’m more interested in their release structure.
